The girl at the counter first spoke German with a customer, then also perfect Italian and French with two other customers, before I was served in perfect English. Talking about impressive.

❤ Sandra Bullock ❤ Hoch Deutsch, I think, with a bit of a Franconian accent. You hear it when she says Danke several times, at the Bambi Awards. The way I used to hear it in and around Nürnberg. Three years in US Army there ( 1960 - 1963 ). There are several major dialects in southern Deutschland. Franconian around the Nürnberg area. Bairisch farther to the south in Bavaria ( around Munich and Austria ) Schwabish to the west of Nürnberg in areas of Badenwurtenburg with Stuttgart being the major city. Almost all Deutsch Leute can and do speak Hoch Deutsch. But they do hold on to their regional spoken dialects and their various pronunciations. I love the German language, the standard Hoch Deutsch. But I also enjoy the diversity of spoken dialects. ❤

luke was so hot in season one. i was into him as soon as i discovered and starting watching this show (which was only about 5 years ago in netflix days... what can i say, i was never much of a tv person my whole adult life)
